Celebs extend warm wishes to Pakistan cricket team ahead of Indo-Pak Asia Cup match

Pakistani celebrities have extended their warm wishes to the Pakistan cricket team ahead of a crucial match of Asia Cup 2018 between rivals India and Pakistan. The match is scheduled to be played on Wednesday 19th September 2018 at Dubai International Stadium.

The fans ahead of the match have already taken to social media while cheering their respective teams. The celebrities like Ahsan Khan, Meera and Arif Lohar are no different and joined the bandwagon to wish and pray for the success of team Pakistan.

Famous actor and host Ahsan Khan in a video message said: “Undoubtedly, the Pakistan cricket team is one of the best.” “The entire nation, including overseas Pakistanis, are praying for you and waiting for you to win,” the Udaari actor added.

Meera also shared a video message for the team and said she is praying for the victory of the team. The actor especially mentioned national team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and Muhammad Amir and sent her “best wishes to all Pakistani players.”

Punjabi folk singer Arif Lohar also extended well wishes to the team. “We are praying for you and hope that you will make the country proud,” he said. Sania Mirza, Indian tennis player, and wife of Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik also took to Twitter and informed that she is signing off for few days following the match.

“So less than 24 hours to go for this match, safe to sign out of social media for a few days since the amount of nonsense that’s going to be said here can make a ‘regular’ person sick, let alone a pregnant one. Later guys! Knock yourselves out! but remember – it’s only a cricket match,” she said.

The celebrities besides celebrating and cheering their team are also requesting people to keep their calm during the match.
