Ambiguity persisted in the media regarding the travel plans of the Sharif family. Nawaz Sharif has already left Pakistan. According to the speculations, Nawaz Sharif had a short stay in Dubai before heading to London, and from there he reached the USA. Maryam Nawaz was scheduled to meet Nawaz Sharif either in London or somewhere in Europe.

There are no reports regarding whether or not Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan. PMLN claims Nawaz Sharif visited London for a medical check-up. If these reports are to be believed,  raise questions regarding the confidence of the leaders of the ruling party in the healthcare system of Pakistan. Maryam Nawaz is a chief minister of Punjab, despite claiming regarding the development and progress of Punjab, she is not able to get herself treated in any public or private hospital across the province. She often targets Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for underdevelopment and lack of progress.
