CM Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, talks about bringing a team of Sindh in the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He shared his views in the meeting with Pakistani pacer Shahnawaz Dahani.
The team will be launched from Sukkur to give the youth of interior Sindh a platform to showcase their talent. CM Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government is making efforts to launch the team and for that, they are finding sponsors.
They have been in discussion with several potential sponsors of the team. CM Sindh praised Shahnawaz Dahani and assured him that the provincial government will give him all the necessary support for his sports training to help him focus fully on his bowling potential.
Sindh government is also working on multiple projects to train and promote young athletes from all over Sindh.
The chief minister said the idea behind getting a PSL franchise from Sukkur was to provide young players an opportunity to rise.

The next edition of PSL will be played from January 27th to 27th February. The first leg will be played in Karachi while the other half will be played in Lahore.

Dahani’s T201 debut
In November, Multan Sultan player, Shahnawaz Dahani made his T20I international debut in the series against Bangladesh.
Before his debut, PCB had released a small video of his interview. “Today is my debut match and I am very excited,” Dahani tells the PCB’s media team. “I am so excited that I cannot express my feelings. I was unable to sleep last night due to the happiness,” he said.
“I had two wishes; one that I could debut in front of my parents [live] but unfortunately, we are in Bangladesh and they are not here. Secondly, I also wanted to play my debut match in front of my people in Sindh,” he added.

Dahani said that he belongs to a small town near Larkana and used to work with his father on fields. He said that he had been extremely passionate about playing cricket since his childhood. He used to play with tape ball cricket and it was his dream to play for Pakistan cricket one day.
