News Desk |

American comedian Jeremy Mclellan stormed Twitter with his hilarious comment on Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification as the party head of PML-N yesterday.

Mclellan has been keenly following the politics of Pakistan ever since he visited the country last year. He made a wholesome tweet that accurately described the prevailing events in Pakistan’s politics.

Earlier this week social media went crazy after Imran Khan officially declared his third marriage with his spiritual guide, Bushra Maneka.

Just two days later, on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 social media was again abuzz after a historic decision came from Supreme Court of Pakistan that disqualified Nawaz Sharif again but this time as the party head of PML-N.

Jeremy Mclellan sarcastically concluded the situation in his brief tweet. He wrote: “Nawaz Sharif has now been disqualified more times than Imran Khan has been married.”

Social Media users who thoroughly enjoyed his tweet responded in large numbers on his Twitter account. Jeremy Mclellan, however, earlier commented on Imran Khan’s third marriage as well. He in his previous tweet used a notorious phrase ‘Mujhay Q Nikala’ on behalf of the ex-wives of Imran Khan.

Nawaz Sharif has been removed from office four times so the American coemdians tweet is very accurate. Benazir Bhutto twice toppled Nawaz from the premiership in the 90’s. Nawaz Sharif encountered his third disqualification as prime minister in the wake of ‘Panama Scandal’ on July 28th 2017. The decision declared him dishonest to hold the highest public office in the country,

The fourth disqualification came in the aftermath of the ‘Panama Scandal. Reflecting upon the decision of his third disqualification, a petition was filed that objected his appointment as the leader of a political party. The apex court, then in its decision yesterday, ordered to remove him as the party leader of PML-N.
