Actor and comedian Shafaat Ali and Vasay Chaudhry have tested positive for the COVID-19. The celebrities updated about their health on respective social media accounts.
“I have tested positive for Covid-19 and self quarantining. I have no symptoms. My family tested negative. I have already notified people I have come in contact with recently to get themselves tested and self-isolate if need be,” wrote the Jawani Phir Nahi Ani actor on Twitter.

Shafaat Ali made a hilarious comment on COVID-19 report
Shafaat Ali also announced on Twitter about his health. “Needed some positivity in life when Corona said, ‘hor koi saday laiq!’ Tested POSITIVE, having mild symptoms. Need your love,” wrote Shafaat Ali on Twitter.

Vasay Chaudhry and Shafaat Ali are the latest among the Pakistani celebrities to have tested positive for coronavirus. Meanwhile, senior actors Rubina Ashraf and Sakina Samo were also tested positive for the COVID-19.
Both Shafaat Ali and Vasay Chaudhry say they are feeling mild symptoms of COVID-19.

Other celebrities tested positive for COVID-19
The health condition of Rubina Ashraf worsened reported the earlier reports. She was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital. According to other reports, the 60-year-old actress developed breathing problems after which she was rushed to the hospital.
However, her daughter rubbished the news of her death. Minna Tariq took to her Instagram account to report about Ashraf’s health.

“I request everyone to please avoid spreading misinformation about my mother Rubina Ashraf, she is fine and recovering,” Tariq wrote on her Instagram Story.

Abrar-ul-Haq tested positive for COVID-19
However, at the beginning of June, singer Abrar-ul-Haq informed that he was tested positive for the COVID-19. The singer took to Twitter to share the update with his fans and followers.
“I am home quarantined.” But he said he will keep performing his duties through Skype as Red Crescent and Sahara worker. “Please pray for me and all those fighting it,” said Abrar-ul-Haq.
On Saturday, Haq had said he was feeling unwell, sharing symptoms that would cause anyone alarm during this pandemic.
He said before, “I am having fever and dry cough since last night and hope it is not Corona.”
“However, those who interacted with me including Governor Sarwer sab should take precautionary measures.”
Meanwhile, a score of politicians have also tested positive for COVID-19 including PML-N’s Maryam Aurangzeb, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi have tested positive for COVID-19. Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed also tested positive for COVID-19.
Also, a score of parliamentarians and senators have tested positive for coronavirus including Shaharyar Afridi and Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser.
