Meanwhile, the US Consulate of Karachi took on Tuesday announced the launch of the website in the Sindhi language.
“Relaunching our Sindhi website is another way in which we are honoring the rich culture and traditions of Pakistan and Sindh,” said the US Public Affairs Officer Jason Green in a video message attached to the tweet.
He said that all the information is available on the website in Sindhi which is one of the oldest languages.
Earlier, Alice Wells had praised Pakistani women who were serving in the United Nations’ peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In a tweet, Wells said: “Inspired by Pakistani women serving with distinction in the UN peacekeeping mission in the DRC. The first Pakistani all-female group of 15 peacekeepers received medals last week for their work performing a range of services to the conflict-affected eastern DRC.” the tweet added.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office herald the recognition of the US of the improved security situation in Pakistan as a step in the ‘right direction’. It has, however, maintained strict travel restrictions on its citizens from traveling to KP, particularly FATA, Balochistan and adjoining areas of LOC in Kashmir.
The realization of the improved security situation by the US is significant for Pakistan in the light of numerous ‘do more’ demands from the former to counter terrorism in the past. This also reflects a reinvigoration of Pak-US ties confirming the fact that despite challenges and ebb and flow in the bilateral relations, Pak and the USA are inseparable partners.
