Warner Bros isn’t going to let the CoronaVirus pandemic wane fan interest in their upcoming projects. The company has released a schedule for their eagerly awaited virtual fan convention DC FanDome.

The event is a one of its kind virtual event where, over the course of 24 hrs, the studio will be making big reveals about all things DC. DC is a property owned by WB consisting of the DC comics superheroes such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. The studio also controls live action adaptations as well as animated series. Now, the studio will be bringing all that and more for 24 hrs on August 22nd on DCFanDome.com

DC Entertainment – Movie Panels Announced

Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig will be online for Wonder Woman 1984 while James Gunn who is directing the upcoming ensemble feature The Suicide Squad will also be in attendance in his slot. Both these panels are expected to drop more information and looks about the upcoming projects. Fans could see first looks of actors like Idris Alba, Pete Davidson, Margot Robbie, John Cena and Alice Braga in their characters.

Wonder Woman has been delayed significantly and while the first official look of Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah is expected to drop, it’s anyone’s guess when the film itself will release. Ezra Miller will also be around with screenwriter Christina Hodgson and filmmakers Andy and Barbara Muschietti to discuss the new Flash movie.

Other popular panels include Matt Reeves’ highly anticipated one for his upcoming Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson. There is a possibility of teasers and first looks for this movie.

Another big film to look forward to will be Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson that most likely feature appearances from the cast of the movie that is yet to be announced. As of right now only actor Noah Centineo is attached to the film. The big event of the day will of course be Zack Snyder’s Justice League panel, where the director will release a trailer for his eagerly awaited HBO Max film or series and will provide additional information about the project. Stars of films such as Aquaman, Batman Forever, the animated series Harley Quinn are also expected to be in attendance. DC will also host panels for a number of its shows including The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Lucifer, Doom Patrol, Stargirl and Titans. dc fandome

New show Superman and Lois will also be releasing information about the series and hopefully a first look. Fans could also get to see the new Batwoman Javicia Leslie in costume. The show’s first season saw Ruby Rose play the female superhero but she left the project unexpectedly a few months back after she sustained life threatening injuries.

It looks like there won’t be any new news on the Justice League Dark web series in development for HBO Max given the lack of any announcement about those projects. However fan conventions such as these are always full of surprises and who knows what DC FanDome might bring. The first panel starts on Saturday August, 10:00 pm.
