DG ISPR plays street cricket in Karachi

The star cricketer Shahid Afridi shared a video of DG Inter-Services Public Relations Asif Ghafoor playing street cricket in Karachi with a group of young boys. Shahid Afridi regretted as he missed playing cricket with Mr. Ghafoor since he was in Turkey.

Shahid Khan Afridi in his tweet gave a shout out to the security forces that played a pivotal role in reinstating peace back into the Karachi. He was overjoyed to see the colors and life back into the nightlife of Karachi that was once suspended due to the deteriorated law and order condition of the city.

DG ISPR also appreciated the hard work of the security agencies who risked their lives to fight back the menace of terrorism that halted the city life of Karachi.

The tweet read: “City of Lights back in colors. Karachi boys enjoying late night road cricket with @OfficalDGISPR Missed the opportunity being at Turkey. Thank you to our brave security forces”.

Major General Asif Ghafoor replied back to his tweet and said in a very pleasant casual tone that had Mr. Afridi been there, nobody would have given him an opportunity to bat. The video of DG ISPR playing cricket ever since has been afloat on social media.

DG ISPR also appreciated the hard work of the security agencies who risked their lives to fight back the menace of terrorism that halted the city life of Karachi. Mr. Ghafoor also gave a shout out to the resilient people of Karachi who supported the operations in Karachi. In the video, the ISPR chief was seen taking selfies with the youth.

The normalcy has been brought back into the air of Karachi as fear is lifted up after a massive clean-up operation by security agencies. The city has now been hosting several night events for the families including various food festivals while the recent musical concert of Strings and Junoon has been the talk of the town that was attended by a large number of people.
