Dil Bechara: trailer of Sushant Singh’s last film leaves fan, co-stars emotional

Dil Bechara has Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi in lead roles. The film is the official remake of the 2014 Hollywood romantic drama The Fault in our Stars. Director Mukesh Chhabra and actress Sanjana Sanghi are making their debut with Dil Bechara. A report says the trailer of Dil Bechara with 3.7m likes has become the most liked trailer of any movie in the world as it beat INFINITY WAR that had 3.6m.

The trailer of the last film of Sushant Singh Rajput, ‘Dil Bechara’ is out. Dil Bechara has Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi in lead roles. The film is based on the novel by John Green- ‘Fault In Our Stars’. It is set to release on July 24 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Dil Bechara of Sushant Singh features a unique love story

The film is the official remake of the 2014 Hollywood romantic drama The Fault in our Stars. Director Mukesh Chhabra and actress Sanjana Sanghi are making their debut with Dil Bechara. Also, Saif Ali Khan will appear for a cameo in the movie. AR Rahman has given the music of the film. Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned down the lyrics.

The story features a young couple who meets and falls in love. Sushant Singh Rajput suffers from osteosarcoma and Sanjana Sanghi suffers from thyroid cancer.

The suicide incident of Sushant Singh Rajput has created an impetus for the movie already. A score of Bollywood celebrities including Sara Ali Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and others shared the trailer in a bid to commemorate the actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Sara Ali Khan, who was his co-star in Kedarnath, shared the trailer of the movie on her Instagram account. She wrote, “Sushant Singh Rajput. One last time #DilBechara” and made a broken heart emoticon.

The official synopsis for Dil Bechara states, “It is the story of Kizie Basu and Immanuel Rajkumar Junior or Manny and explores the funny, thrilling, and tragic adventure of being alive and in love. Together Kizie and Manny embark on an on-off-up-down-sad and sweet profound journey into the heart of that crazy little thing called life. It teaches them what it means to feel truly alive and fall in love.”

Trailer of the film leaves fans, stars emotional

The trailer of the movie racked up 4.5 lakh views in just a few hours of its release. According to media reports, Dil Bechara has become the second Indian fastest film to receive a million On YouTube. Also, another report says the trailer of Dil Bechara with 3.7m likes has become the most liked trailer of any movie in the world as it beat INFINITY WAR that had 3.6m.

Veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor shared the trailer on Twitter. He tweeted, “A reminder to all of us to live each and every moment to the fullest. A beautiful trailer and tribute to the star we lost too soon but get to see him shine on screen one last time and be immortalized through his work forever in millions of hearts. #DilBechara.”

His co-star from Rabta, Kriti Sanon, also shared the trailer of the movie. She wrote “#DilBechara… It’s gonna be really hard to watch this one… but how can I not? #Sushant” with a heartbroken emoji.

Director Farhan Akhtar also shared the trailer of the movie. He wrote, “Just watched #DilBecharaTrailer .. it does of course remind us that we’ve lost a talented actor way too soon but it also brings a smile to the face with it’s charming, bittersweet feel… my best wishes to Mukesh Chhabra and the team. Look forward to it.”

Meanwhile, the debutant director Mukesh Chhabra posted an emotional message on social media following the release of the trailer. An excerpt from his note read: “Presenting to you our dream and the dream of my brother Sushant, who will live on in me till my last breath.”

Sushant Singh’s suicide

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput had committed suicide at the age of 34 at his Mumbai residence on June 15. The incident plunged the entire Bollywood fraternity into disbelief as they expressed grief and shock on the untimely demise of the rising actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The Bollywood actor was found hanging in his apartment in Mumbai.

The suicide case of actor suicide stirred mayhem in the industry. Since his fans have attributed his suicide to factors like nepotism, lack of appreciation, exploitative work contracts, and contempt from renowned celebrities.

Sushant Singh made his Bollywood debut with the movie Kai Po Che! (2013). He received a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. After that, he starred in a romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance (2013). In the action/thriller Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015). His highest-grossing releases came with a supporting role in the satire PK (2014).

Singh’s biggest success was a biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016). He appeared in a titular role. Rajput went on to star in the commercially successful films Kedarnath (2018) and Chhichhore (2019).
