The Dirilis Ertugrul cast has expressed grief on the tragic PIA plane crash on Friday in Karachi. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane crashed near Model Colony Karachi, which flew from Lahore to Karachi. Reportedly, around 99 passengers and 8 crew members were on board Airbus A320.
The recent reports state two survivors and 97 dead from the tragic PIA plane crash.
Dirilis Ertugrul cast take to their social media platforms and condoled the death of passengers on the unfortunate plane. They expressed grief on the loss of precious human lives. Turkish actors joined the global celebrities who condoled the horrific crash of the PIA plane a few seconds before landing.
The plane crash two days ahead of the festive occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr has saddened people. Meanwhile, pandemic coronavirus had clouded the joy of Eid-ul-Fitr. However, the tragic plane crash and loss of 97 lives onboard have grimed the festivities further. Social media users have urged people to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with simplicity in solidarity with the victims.
Dirilis Ertugrul actors express solidarity
Esra Bilgic, the lead actor of Dirilis Ertugrul in her tweet said she is praying for the departed souls and their families.
“Dear #Pakistan, please accept my most sincere condolences on your loss today. Praying all the souls of the departed, praying for their families, and those who have survived,” wrote Esra Bilgic in her tweet. She also expressed grief over the reported demise of Pakistani model Zara Abid. Zara Abid was among the passengers on the tragic PIA flight from Lahore to Karachi.

The conflicting reports on her whereabouts are circulating on social media. Her family is yet to give a decisive status about her whereabouts. In another Instagram post, Esra Bilgic expressed her regret for not following back Zara Abid timely on Instagram. Yet, she said she hopes Zara Abid to be among fortunate survivors.
Gulsim Ali, another leading actor, of Dirilis Ertgurul also expressed her grief on PIA plane crash in an Instagram post. The actress said words may not be enough to solace the grieving hearts but people of Turkey are standing in solidarity with the people of Pakistan in these testing times. She expressed her deepest sympathies with the bereaved families. Engin Altan-the Ertugrul also expressed his condolence on the tragic incident in an Instagram post.
Moreover, Nurettin Sonmez ( Bamsi Alp), Cavit Çetin Güner (Dogan Alp), Burcu Kirtatli (Gokce Hatun), Edip Zaydan (Dumrul Alp) and Celal Al (Abdur Rehman Alp) expressed grief and condolence.

Dirilis Ertgurul returned love from Pakistan
The lead cast of Dirilis Ertugurl has received humongous appreciation and love from Pakistani fans following the ongoing broadcast of the serial on Pakistan’s state-owned channel, PTV. Pakistan fans poured the Instagram account of Turkish actors with loving comments.
The Turkish actors reciprocated the love from Pakistani fans through endearing messages. They also expressed their wish to visit Pakistan soon after the pandemic coronavirus. The Turkish actors put up Pakistani flags on their social media accounts to acknowledge the love and appreciation from Pakistan.
