Dua Zehra, a girl who mysteriously disappeared from Karachi, asked her parents to accept her and her husband Zaheer with a big heart.
Zehra addressed her parents in the first interview with a YouTube channel. Both Dua Zehra and Zaheer appeared in the interview. Dua Zehra claims she is 17-year-old and is eligible to marry Zaheer. She disappeared from her home in April.
Dua Zehra said that she married Zaheer according to Islamic laws and said that she is sorry if her parents think she has made a mistake.
“I would like to request them [parents] to accept me and Zaheer with a big heart. I know they have gone through sorrow and even I have but I ask them to accept us,” Dua, who says she is 17 years old, said.

Dua Zehra claims that she traveled from Karachi to Lahore alone. “I took a rickshaw from my house to the taxi stand and traveled to Lahore by taxi.”
Zehra said that she met her husband on PUBG three years ago. According to her, her parents refused to get her married to Zaheer when she told them about him. She said they beat and broke her iPad. Adding that, her parents forced her to marry her cousin whom she did not want to marry.
Zehra says her father wants her to get married to her cousin to resolve a property dispute. Hence, she ran away from home to marry Zaheer.
The host asked Zaheer about his source of earnings. He said “he deals in the sale and purchase of mobile phones and has recently done his FSC from pre-medical,” adding that he earned up to Rs70,000 to Rs90,000 per month through mobile phone dealing.
The interview has gone viral on social media on Monday. Netizens have a divided opinion view of her interview. Some say the interview is scripted and planted meanwhile others say Dua Zehra willingly married Zaheer.
