Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again lambasted the ones criticizing the earlier decision of the government to put names on Exit control List in a twitter post.
While praising the beauty of Pakistan, PM Khan has said that the ruling elite does not value the grandeur of land that is why they abhor the exit control list. Sharing the videos of beautiful wildlife and landscape that exist in Pakistan, PM Khan wrote, “The majestic beauty and diversity of our land are unparalleled. Sadly this beauty is not appreciated by our ruling elite which is why ECL is such a calamity for them.”

Earlier, there was a war of words between PM Khan and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairperson Pakistan Peoples’ Party over the name of bigwigs added in ECL.
PM Khan had censured the lawmakers for their eagerness to go abroad while the country needed them to fulfill their responsibilities. To that, Bilawal replied, PM Khan did not understand the ‘freedom of movement’.

Supreme Court had earlier asked the government to consider taking the names off ECL; which government was reluctant to do and announced it would take a decision after pondering on the detailed version of the verdict.
On Thursday, Jan 17, after the cabinet meeting, the government removed names of Bilawal and Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah from the ECL.
