Ertugrul sensation, Engin Altan Duzyatan, is expected to travel Lahore, Pakistan for the inauguration of a mosque, suggest reports. A local housing company, Blue World City from Lahore, Pakistan has hired Engin Altan Duzyatan (who played Ertugrul in the Dirilis Ertugrul) as its brand ambassador.
A Pakistani publication has reported that Engin Altan Duzyatan will travel to Lahore after signing a contract with the brand. This would be the first formal contract of Engin Altan Duzyatan with any Pakistani company. Meanwhile, his counterpart from the show, Esra Bilgic-who played the female lead of Halime Sultan in Dirilis Ertugrul has racked up contracts with three leading Pakistani brands.

However, this would not be the Engin Altan’s first interaction with Pakistanis. Resurrection Ertugrul star Engin Altan Duzyatan has already met three Pakistani terminally ill children through a video link organized by the non-profit organization, Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The teenage children are fans of Engin Altan Duzyatan and had expressed wish to meet him. The Turkish star, however, could not come to Pakistan to meet children but interacted with them via video link.
Ertugrul meets Pakistani children virtually
Fizza Khuda Baksh, 14, Sidra Khan, 15, and Sohail Umer, 16, wanted to meet Duzyatan. “I am very happy to meet these children and soon will visit Pakistan to meet with my Pakistani brothers and sisters,” Duzyatan said while speaking with the children.
“I saw your drama on PTV which is lovely and telling us the Islamic history and how our heroes fought for Islam,” Umer told the actor. Khuda Baksh said: “I wished to speak and meet you and today my dream was fulfilled by Make-A-Wish.”

Earlier, a video of the Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan went viral on social media in which he announced to meet three Pakistani children. He was heard saying, “Hello Pakistan, I will be meeting make-a-wish children on the 18th of August, see you soon.”

He also extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Pakistan on Independence Day in a video message. Engin Altan Duzyatan wished his Pakistani fans in the Urdu language. He said, “Tamam Ehl-e-Pakistan Ko Jashn-e-Azadi Mubarak” (A very happy independence to all the people of Pakistan).
Engin Altan visits Pakistan’s Consulate on Independence Day
The Consul General of Pakistan in Turkey, Bilal Khan Pasha shared the images of Engin Altan Duzyatan visiting the Consulate of Pakistan on the occasion of the 74th Independence Day of Pakistan. Bilal Khan Pasha welcomed Engin Altan Duzyatan and exchanged greetings with him. In his message on Twitter, Bilal Khan Pasha informed that Engin Altan Duzyatan would soon visit the country.
“We are grateful to our brother @EnginAltanDuz for expressing his love & sincere wishes on our Independence Day. He will be in Pakistan soon,” wrote Bilal Khan Pasha in a tweet.
Engin Altan Duzyatan, also known as Ertugrul from Turkish serial Dirilis Ertugrul, expressed love for the people of Pakistan in his interview with PTV.
