Pakistan’s airstrikes in Afghanistan’s Paktika and Khost provinces have escalated tensions between the two neighboring countries. Chief Afghan Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid described the airstrikes as “aggression” and warned of dire consequences.
