The hate-mongers in India have issued rape threats to the 10-months old daughter of Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
Virat Kohli is the latest Indian cricketer to be howled at following a crushing defeat against New Zealand on Sunday in Dubai in the T20 World Cup 2021 match. He has been receiving threats because he defended the only Muslim player in the team, Muhammad Shami. Shami had been hurled abuse and vilified on social media by haters and extremists after the Indian cricket team had lost their first match to Pakistan by 10-wickets.
Kohli and Anushka’s 10-month-old daughter is getting rape threats because he decided to stand by his Muslim teammate, call out bigotry, and say discrimination on the basis of religion is wrong.
A 10-month-old child.
This is the India that we let happen.

The cricketing fraternity had supported Muhammad Shami in the face of intense vitriol. Statement of Virat Kohli in defense of Shami too came out that further angered the haters and extremists. In his statement, Kohli had said, “There’s a good reason why we are playing on the field and not a bunch of spineless people on social media that have no courage to actually speak to any individual in person.”
He added, “It has become a social pandemic in today’s world, which is so unfortunate and so sad to see because this is literally the lowest level of human potential that one can operate at. And that’s how I look at these people.”
Virat Kohli added that attacking someone for their religion is the most pathetic thing to do. “If people can overlook that [Shami’s contributions] and his passion for the country, honestly, I don’t want to waste even one minute of my life on them. We stand by him fully. We back him 200%. Our brotherhood cannot be shaken,” Kohli said in the conclusion.

Virat Kohli is facing criticism but it’s the entire team and the coaches that have failed and not just one man.

Meanwhile, social media users have slammed the extremists for threatening Virat Kohli to rape his 10-months old daughter.
A violent reaction came from Indian cricket fans after the team lost its match to Pakistan last Sunday. A score of Kashmiri students was arrested after they cheered the Pakistan cricket team for winning their match against India.
