Fake News: Justice Isa did not issue order against Sehat Card banners

A news report made rounds claiming that Justice Faez Isa issued an order for the removal of Sehat Card banners. GVS sources confirmed that it is fake news.

Earlier, reports emerged that Justice Qazi Faez Isa, a senior supreme court (SC) judge, issued an order for the removal of Sehat Card banners. The alleged move came after he collided with one of the banners.

According to a media report by ARY News Urdu, Justice Isa, while walking on his way to the SC, collided with a banner on Shahra-e-Dustur. After reaching the court, he issued an order to remove the banners. Officials of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) received the instructions to remove the banners.

However, sources at Global Village Space confirmed that it is fake news, and Justice Faez Isa did not issue any such order.

Important to note, the PTI-led government is heavily advertising the Ehsaas health cards. The Sehat cards were also advertised at the HBL PSL 7, a move that left Twitter divided. Many netizens appreciated the marketing strategy, while others criticized it.

According to the supporters, the Sehat Card is an important initiative that should be aggressively promoted so more people can know about it and avail of it. On the other hand, the critics stated that the Sehat card has nothing to do with HBL PSL 7. The PTI government is over projecting the card.
