Fan-girl moment between PM Khan and Malaysia’s First Lady is heart-melting

Siti Hashma, Malaysia’s First Lady turned out to be a fan of cricketer-turned-politician Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. A video circulating on social media shows the First Lady approaching PM Khan with a request to hold his hand.

During an official photo shoot, Malaysia’s First Lady turned to Imran Khan with a request saying “Prime minister, can I hold your hand?” Prime Minister Imran Khan humbly accepted her request and said “Sure” with a smile on his face.

The sweet exchange of expressions between nonagenarian Malaysia’s First Lady Siti Hashma and Pakistan’s Premier Imran Khan prompted a laughter from those in the audience and Malaysia’s Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. Siti Hashma then gleefully posed for a photo when Khan holds her hand.

Since yesterday, the video is being widely circulated on social media and has been a source of joy for the fanfollowers of Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf. The innocent smile on the face of the Malaysia’s First Lady has been melting the hearts of the people on social media.  As the premier’s visit came to an end, the Malaysian prime minister saw him off at the airport, following which Khan departed for Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan was recently on a two-day visit to Malaysia. PM Khan received a grand welcome in Malaysia. Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad welcomed Imran Khan at Perdana Square. After the national anthems of both the country played, Pakistan’s premier inspected the Guard of Honor by three officers and 103 personnel from the 1st Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment. PM Khan is the first head of the government who has visited Malaysia since Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad assumed power second time.

The official Twitter account of Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf informed that PM Imran Khan in his visit to Malaysia held a bilateral meeting with his counterpart and stated that “both leaders held fruitful & in-depth discussions, which took place in a warm & cordial atmosphere”.
