Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Farooq Sattar garnered media attention for his hilarious remarks over winning elections in Karachi in his speech delivered on 23rd July. Farooq Sattar quoting a Bollywood film name ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ said that Muttahida Qaumi movement is ready to sweep the elections.
His hilarious comments were cherished by a large number of people attending the political procession of MQM-Pakistan in Karachi.
The MQM-Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar is known for his unique speech style and spectacular command over the Urdu language. Several times Farooq Sattar has quoted lines of famous poets in his speech. Farooq Sattar in his speech on 23rd July encouraged the people of Karachi to vote for ‘kite’- the election symbol of MQM.

He said there will be huge lines of voters outside the polling stations on Wednesday and MQM will win the elections with a heavy mandate. He is hopeful his party will defeat the opponents with great margins. He further added that MQM-Pakistan would revive the history of 90’s when MQM enjoyed a heavy majority in Karachi.
He said political opponents should not underestimate the power of MQM but must recall the overwhelming victory of the party in the by-elections of NA-246 a few years back.
The passionate crowd responded to every call of Farooq Sattar when he raised slogans of Muhajir Community. He said that he is wishing to revive the role of Muhajir community in the development of Pakistan and urban areas of Sindh after winning the elections.
