Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain hits back at Oppositions’ criticism of PTI’s performance in the last three years. Addressing a press conference, Fawad Chaudhry said PPP and PML-N should enlighten the public with their performance.
While criticizing the Opposition, Fawad Chaudhry said PTI remains the only government that publicly shared a performance report.
“PTI is the only party that has made its 3-year performance public,” Fawad Chaudhry said.
Thursday, PM Khan shared the PTI government’s 3 years performance report, highlighting the achievements. However, both PPP and PML-N discredited the report and accused PTI of spreading falsehoods.

In this regard, Fawad Chaudhry demanded that the media should ask Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah about what PPP did for the province.
He further said the federal government transferred Rs1.9 trillion to the province in the last three years but no money was spent on the province’s development. The minister said Sindh was the only province where the administration was indifferent to the basic health needs of its citizens.
“Sindh is even not willing to give health cards to its people,” Fawad Chaudhry pointed out.

“If we ask the Sindh government about proper spending of money, they blame us for interfering in provincial affairs,” he said. He then said that every department in Karachi sought bribes from people to serve them.
Fawad Chaudhry turns on PML-N
On PML-N, Fawad Chaudhry said the PML-N must decide about its leadership as “some people are chasing Maryam Nawaz while others are following Shehbaz Sharif.”

Fawad Chaudhry also criticized Mian Nawaz Sharif and said he is busy attending weddings instead of doing politics. The minister took a dig at Junaid Safdar’s lavish wedding and claimed the reception cost more than $1 million.
“We don’t have objections to such weddings, but they should not be at our expense,” he added.
He further said that Nawaz Sharif should first get back to Pakistan, face courts, and return the looted money.
