Fawad Chaudhry, Saad Rafique seen talking during NA session break

Netizens are now guessing what the two parliamentarians talked about. Some find it suspicious. The video does not record their conversation but it seems that Fawad Chaudhry is trying to explain something to Khawaja Saad Rafique.

A video of PTI leader, Fawad Chaudhry and PMLN’s Khawaja Saad Rafique has gone viral on social media. Both the lawmakers from rival parties were seen talking to each other during the break in the assembly session.

Netizens are now guessing what the two parliamentarians could be talking about. Some find it suspicious. The video does not record their conversation but it seems that Fawad Chaudhry is trying to explain something to Khawaja Saad Rafique.

Some users say they might be trying to convince each other to join respective parties. Some are allegedly accusing Law Minister Fawad Chaudhry of negotiating to switch his party, to PMLN. Meanwhile, others said Fawad Chaudhry is convincing Saad Rafique to vote in favor of PM Imran Khan during the no-confidence motion. Some say there is no harm in two legislatures from opposite parties talking to each other. In a new video, Shafqat Mehmood also joined them in the conversation. Fawad Chaudhry was seen sitting on the chair while Saad Rafique and Shafqat Mehmood stood in front of him.

In related news, the historic session of the National Assembly began today at 10:30 am to decide PM Imran Khan’s fate amid the no-confidence motion. However, the Opposition began a ruckus during Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s speech, after which the NA Speaker abruptly adjourned the session.

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser had adjourned the session with the no-confidence motion on the agenda till 12:30 pm. The move by the Speaker came abruptly after lawmakers began chanting slogans during Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s speech.

The historic session of the National Assembly began today at 10:30 am to decide PM Imran Khan’s fate amid the no-confidence motion. Speaking on the floor of NA, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif hailed Thursday as a historic day in the country’s history when the Supreme Court rejected the deputy speaker’s ruling.  “SC decision had made Pakistan’s future bright,” he said.

To clarify, Thursday, the Supreme Court, in a landmark verdict, retained the opposition’s no-trust motion against PM Khan. The SC ruled that the deputy speaker’s ruling was a violation of the Constitution and nullified the dissolution of the National Assembly (NA).
