PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has wished PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz a speedy recovery after the latter underwent throat surgery in Geneva, Switzerland.
Taking to Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry has expressed his best wishes for Maryam Nawaz and hoped she would get well soon.
“Get well soon…best wishes Maryam Nawaz Sharif,” Fawad Chaudhry tweeted. The gesture is being welcomed by netizens as they appreciate Fawad Chaudhry for putting political differences aside and wishing Maryam Nawaz well after her throat surgery.
Pertinent to mention that PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has been very vocal about his criticism of PTI’s political rivals, PPP and PML-N. He has also taken shots at Maryam Nawaz on several occasions.

In a statement released on Twitter, PML-N leader and Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb wrote that Maryam Nawaz Sharif is doing well after the throat operation in Geneva. Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Maryam Nawaz thanked the people and workers who sent messages of prayers and good wishes.

After her recovery from her surgery, Maryam Nawaz will return to Pakistan in the third week of January to assume her new responsibilities as the Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer of PML-N. PML-N President Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved the appointment of Maryam Nawaz.
Sharif family to meet in Geneva
On January 4, the father-daughter duo — Nawaz Sharif and Maryam — left London for Switzerland. PML-N supremo Nawaz is expected to visit his heart surgeon as he is also based in Geneva
As per reports, the PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz will go sightseeing and also have meetings scheduled during the trip.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also be visiting Geneva to co-host the International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan — along with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres — on January 9. As a result, Nawaz Sharif is expected to meet his brother Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
