Three men attacked the female assistant commissioner of Mansehra, Marvi Malik Sher, and her staff. Following the arrest, the men asserted that they attacked her because they did not want a female civil servant in their area. The attack was reported on March 18th.
Three men followed Marvi Malik Sher in her car, trying to overtake her on Karakoram Highway in the Ghazikot area. After taking over her car, they harassed her and took photos and videos of her. They manhandled her and beat her guard and drive when they tried to intervene.
The nearby people intervened and detained the three men until the police came. The accused allegedly told police that they disapprove of a female assistant commissioner in their area.
Very disturbed to know Asst. Commissioner Mansehra Marvi Malik Sher was attacked by morons. Prayers!#Respectworkingwomen & dont consider us an easy target just because we are out in public space. That space belongs to us as much as it belongs to you (men)https://t.co/4fqHpfPrqR https://t.co/u9uL2Jotj1

My prayers are with Assistant Commissioner Marvi Malik Sher, who was attacked by 3 assailants near Ghazi kot, Mansehra. The preparators claimed that they didn't want a women commissioner in their area. This is a very daring case of violence against women!
