“I was harassed, and it took me a lot of courage to approach the FIA Cybercrime Wing. I want to tell every girl not to go to the FIA; they will harass you even more. I went to the Rawalpindi FIA office, they sent me to their Islamabad branch, and the Islamabad office staff sent me back to Rawalpindi. No progress has been made to my online complaint so far,” wrote Abbasi in a tweet.
Social media users also commented on her post and slammed FIA for their apathetic attitude towards the girl. A social media user wrote: “That’s true! Cybercrime cell needs to be exposed. They do nothing at all.”

Another social media user said: “The Cybercrime Wing cell needs to be exposed. They do nothing at all.”
However, a social media user commented that he has heard positive reviews about FIA in recent years. His comments perhaps insinuate that the investigative agency needs to be more organized and swift in taking actions on the complaints to improve its efficiency and service delivery.
