India’s renowned film production house, Yash Raj Films, has unleashed an electrifying sneak peek at ‘Tiger 3,’ featuring the iconic duo, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. Directed by the talented Maneesh Sharma (‘Band Baaja Baaraat’), this film represents the latest installment in producer Aditya Chopra’s enthralling spy universe.
The journey of espionage began with the high-octane Tiger franchise, showcasing the dynamic pairing of Khan and Katrina Kaif. It embarked on its thrilling odyssey with ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ in 2012, followed by the adrenaline-pumping ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ in 2017. The intrigue deepened with the blockbuster ‘War’ in 2019, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.
Earlier this year, ‘Pathaan,’ starring the charismatic Shah Rukh Khan and the talented Deepika Padukone, shattered records as the biggest Indian hit of 2023, amassing a staggering $130 million globally. Collectively, these four cinematic gems have garnered an impressive $300 million worldwide.
In the Tiger franchise, Salman Khan embodies the character of Avinash Singh Rathore, alias Tiger, a fearless operative of India’s intelligence agency, RAW. His counterpart, Katrina Kaif, portrays Zoya Humaini, an ISI agent from Pakistan. ‘War’ introduced Hrithik Roshan as the rogue RAW agent Kabir Dhaliwal and Tiger Shroff as his protege, Khalid Rahmani. In ‘Pathaan,’ Shah Rukh Khan steps into the shoes of the exiled RAW agent Pathaan, while Deepika Padukone shines as ISI agent Rubina Mohsin.
Notably, ‘Pathaan‘ featured an exciting crossover with Tiger making a pivotal cameo, and the film also brought back Colonel Sunil Luthra (played by Ashutosh Rana), a character first seen in ‘War’ and expected to reappear in ‘Tiger 3.’
