Actor Gohar Rasheed in his latest tweet has requested the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan to invite Jemima Goldsmith in the oath-taking ceremony of Imran Khan, the chief of Tehreek-I-Insaf, as Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Jemima Goldsmith is the former wife of Imran Khan. Unfortunately, the couple parted ways after nine years of marriage. Jemima Goldsmith immensely supported Imran Khan throughout his political struggle. She played a pivotal role in helping Imran Khan achieve his dream of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Lahore.
The couple tied the knot in 1995 and parted ways in 2004. Goldsmith is the mother of his two sons. Rasheed in his tweet stated that Jemima Goldsmith has immensely served Pakistan. She is a true and sincere friend who deserves to be honored.
He wrote: “It is my humble request to the foreign ministry to please invite Ms. Jemima Khan as an honorable guest in the oath taking ceremony of the new Prime Minister of Pakistan. We all owe her a special thanks due to many reasons this would be a best tribute to a sincere friend of Pakistan.”

The Twitteratis endorsed the request of Gohar Rasheed. They tweeted in favor of Goldsmith and recognized her service for Pakistan. Earlier, Goldsmith took to Twitter and congratulated Imran Khan over his victory in the General Elections.
“22 years later, after humiliations, hurdles and sacrifices, my sons’ father is Pakistan’s next PM,” the tweet read. “It’s an incredible lesson in tenacity, belief and refusal to accept defeat. The challenge now is to remember why he entered politics in the first place. Congratulations, Imran Khan,” she wrote.
Imran Khan is set to become the prime minister of Pakistan. As per media report he is wishful of taking oath publically at D-Chowk Islamabad on Independence Day 11th August.
