Hadiqa Kiani gives tribute to martyrs in Kashmir, Turkey in new Turkish song

The track is dedicated to the martyrs of Kashmir and Turkey-who lost their lives during the coup attempt in Turkey back in 2016. The song has an opening message that read as " In everlasting memory of our beloved martyrs: July 13, 1931, Kashmir Martyr's Day, July 15, 2016, Failed Turkish Coup Attempt."

Hadiqa Kiani has released a song to pay tribute to the martyrs of Kashmir and Turkey. She produced the song in collaboration with the Turkish singer, Ali Tolga.

The track is dedicated to the martyrs of Kashmir and Turkey-who lost their lives during the coup attempt in Turkey back in 2016. The song is titled Diami Bahar which translates to Eternal Spring. The lyrics are mostly in the Turkish language with a few lines in Urdu. The first part of the song is in English and the latter part is in Urdu. The song hails Turkey and Pakistan’s friendship. The video of the song also shows a clip highlighting the plight of Kashmiris in Indian Occupied Kashmir and the struggle against the failed coup attempt in Turkey.

Both the singers, Hadiqa Kiani and Ali Tolga remembers the martyrs of Kashmir and Turkey in their soulful voices.

Hadiqa Kiani paid tribute to the Ertugrul saga

However, this is not the first time the Pakistani actress has sung in the Turkish language. A few weeks earlier, the actress released a song in Turkish to pay tribute to the famous Turkish serial, Dirilis Ertugrul.

The singer released a video of her song on all her social media accounts. The song features Hadiqa Kiani. She reprised the Turkish song she sang at the Opera House with scenes from the serial Dirilis Ertugrul.

Hadiqa Kiani took to social media and wrote, “Something very very special coming soon,” a few days ago.

“In 2005, I had the honor of singing the Turkish song Sen Ağlama at the AKM Opera House,” she tweeted. “Today, I have remastered that song as a tribute to series Diriliş: Ertuğrul, Sezen Aksu and to the people of Turkey,” wrote the singer. She went on to add, “May our love and bond be forever strong.”

Hadiqa Kiani strengthening Pakistan-Turkey friendship

“The love between Turkey and Pakistan is unlike the love of any other country,” the singer’s team shared a statement. The statement also revealed her mother’s ancestors belong to Izmir, Turkey.

“She has had an affinity for the country since her childhood. As a child prodigy, Kiani represented Pakistan in the International Children’s Festival in Turkey and as an adult in 2005 she returned to the great country to once again represent Pakistan at the iconic Atatürk Cultural Center and Opera House,” it further read.

Hence, the sweet Turkish song in the melodious voice of Hadiqa Kiani reinvigorates the amiable Pak-Turk relations. Moreover, it also strengthens the friendly cultural exchange between the two countries.

Dirilis Ertugrul: greater collaboration between Turkey and Pakistan

The broadcast of Turkish serial, Dirilis Ertugrul, has brought closer the entertainment industry of both the countries.

Turkish serial, Dirilis Ertugrul, has been a rage in Pakistan. The drama is receiving rave reviews since its broadcast on PTV. It took the Pakistani entertainment industry by storm. Politicians and several celebrities alike are raving for the serial and the phenomenal performances of the actors.

The broadcast of Dirilis Ertugrul in Pakistan gave the chance to both Pakistani audience and Turkish actors to interact with each other. Pakistani fans and Turkish fans exchanged love and warm wishes on social media.

Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan, from Resurrection Ertugrul, opened up about appreciation and love getting from Pakistan during an interview on BBC Asian Network.

In an interview, he shared his views on why the serial Dirilis Ertugrul became a huge success in Pakistan. He said the series connects with the people of Pakistan in so many ways. “I think both Turkish people and Pakistani people love well-crafted stories. Turkish series are successful at conveying a touching sense of drama to the audience,” he said.

Also, speculations are rife that famous writer and poet Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has announced to write a script like Turkish drama “Ertugrul Ghazi’.

During an interview on a private news channel, the writer told that he has talked to actor Humayun Saeed and that he is going to write a script like Ertugrul.

While, Turkish serial Dirilis Ertugrul was an unusual experience for TV drama audiences in Pakistan who are regularly treated with stories heavily based on domestic issues. Hence, a TV series, with swords horses and brave characters of Muslim warriors appealed to the masses in Pakistan.
