Visualizing the importance, need and opportunities that the world Leading ERP Solution, SAP S/4 HANA offers, Hamdard Pakistan, a global house of herbal medicines and product and a household name of Pakistan and the subcontinent, has started using SAP technology and with the help of the implementation partner WeMyt (Pvt) Ltd. and quality assurance partner A.F. Ferguson (PwC Pakistan), it successfully implemented the latest version of SAP S/4 HANA (1809) to reap the benefits of the system and align its business processes with the industry standards.
Hamdard Laboratories (WAQF) Pakistan carried the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA technology with all the challenges and complexities within a short period of eight and a half months, starting from January 2019 and covered all the Hamdard facilities located across Pakistan. The company has already started reaping the benefits of increased productivity and efficiency, it has helped to streamline operations, and improve customer relations.
In celebration of the centurial year of Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said, founder Hamdard Laboratories, Waqf Pakistan held awards and certificates distribution ceremony on successful implementation and launch of SAP S/4 HANA at held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at a local hotel.
Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said had been a prominent name in Pakistan and made substantial effort to see his country flourish in the field of Unani medicine
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Sadia Rashid, Chairperson, Hamdard Pakistan said that Hamdard had passed its century of services to the society and the mankind and carrying the vision of its founder in Pakistan, Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said to take and blend the best of Traditional and Modern, and handshake between SAP and Hamdard bears witness to that belief as well as action! SAP and Hamdard have one thing in common: Both are improving people’s lives and Hamdard’s field of operation is health – care, education, and philanthropy, she added.

Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said’s daughter, Sadia Rashid, is now the current president of Hamdard Pakistan, chancellor of the Hamdard University and president of the Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association (PJCA). She is a dedicated educationist and devoted to the cause of promoting cultural relations and mutual understanding between Japan and Pakistan.
Former Governor of Sindh, a renowned Hakim (physician) of international repute, Chancellor of Hamdard University, President Hamdard Foundation Pakistan and Chairman Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Pakistan, Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said was a distinguished scholar and humanist.
Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said was one of Pakistan’s most prominent medical researchers in the field of Eastern medicines. He established the Hamdard Foundation in 1948, prior to his settlement in West Pakistan. And in just a few years, the herbal medical products of the Hamdard Foundation became household names in Pakistan.
100 years of Hakim Mohammed Said has carried 100 years of knowledge for the people involved in Hamdard Pakistan, be it on the product building side, research side or its institutional offshoot. Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said is a prominent name in Pakistan and made substantial contributions to the flourishing of Unani medicine in Pakistan and abroad. The efforts made by his legacy to grow after his demise are a great tribute!
