Hammad Azhar, Shiffa Yousafzai deny marriage rumors

Earlier, a journalist has tweeted that, "A handsome top official of Tehreek-e-Insaf from Lahore recently got married to a female journalist, congratulations to both."

PTI leader Hammad Azhar and anchorperson and journalist Shiffa Yousafzai deny marriage rumors in the latest posts on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Speculations and rumors are circulating that a young and senior politician of PTI from Lahore has married for a second time with a famous anchorperson. Some X accounts reported that the PTI politician is Hammad Azhar and has married Shiffa Yousafzai.

Hammad Azhar is in hiding as several arrest warrants have been issued against him. He, like other PTI leaders, is on the run and lived in hiding for a year. A few months back he resurfaced in public and is now attending protest rallies organized by PTI.

Dismissing the marriage rumors, Hammaad Azhar in a tweet said: “There is fake news circulating on social media regarding me. Plz report all such accounts & click baits. It is nothing but a distraction to divert us from our real goal of liberating Pakistan from tyranny. Report and then ignore. Thank you.”

Earlier, a journalist has tweeted that, “A handsome top official of Tehreek-e-Insaf from Lahore recently got married to a female journalist, congratulations to both.”

Responding to another tweet by a journalist, Hammad Azhar said: “My name is running below your tweet. Thanks to all my friends for considering me handsome, but if it ever happens, I will let you all know in time.”

Shiffa Yousafzai also denied her marriage rumors in a tweet. She said,” Dear All, Let it be clear, I have not married anyone! However, the social media campaign, targeting me, reminds me like it should remind, all working women, how vulnerable a woman is in male-dominated Pakistan always explaining her existence! (Btw this isn’t the first time I have been targeted like this).”

“I would request all social media sites to delete this nonsense and all decent men & women to stop participating in a witch hunt. Also a big thanks to all those who have been supportive,” said the anchorperson in a tweet.
