Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has announced on Tuesday, a break from social media to write a book on God. Abbasi took down to his official Twitter account to inform his fans and followers about the latest development.
He says that he will be done by his book by the June of next year. “In the process of writing a book….obviously it,ll be about God 🙂 …hoping to be done by June 2021 Insha Allah. Will be a little inactive on social media bcz of that,” wrote Abbasi in a tweet.

His fans and followers lauded his new endeavor and even suggested to him different themes of life to be included in the book. A Twitter user said that he should get his book translated into Urdu for the masses if he is planning to write it in the English language.

A score of his followers sent him warm wishes and prayers for the success of his new endeavor which will see the actor turning into an author.

Abbasi has been on the path towards spirituality since last year after taking a break from his acting career. In the past few months, the actor has been focusing on learning more about God and Islam.
He, however, denied the conjecture that he has bid farewell to his acting career. While responding to a Twitter user who said that fans would miss Abbasi on the screen after news spread that Abbasi had quit acting. The actor cleared the misunderstanding that he had not quit acting but had taken a brief break and he would soon be back on screen.
Back in September Abbasi had a formal statement that he will soon be returning to TV screens in an online interview with fellow entertainer Ahmed Ali Butt.
After a long hiatus from the entertainment industry, Abbasi says he is planning to return to the TV screen with two projects. However, he did not reveal the details of his upcoming ventures in the show.
He went on to say that he “will make – and maybe act – in projects made within boundaries Allah has set for us.”
Abbasi last appeared in the drama serial ‘Alif’ with actress Sajal Aly. His movie The Legends of Maula Jutt is set to release soon in the cinemas.
