While some appreciated the partnership, other social media users strongly reacted to it. They criticized the actor’s sister for hiring the services of the foreign actor while overlooking the highly-talented local artists like Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam, and others.
Some of them said that Pakistani brands should stop hiring Turkish actors as their brand ambassadors.

Nearly all the leading Dirilis Ertugrul stars have been hired by the top Pakistani brands and businesses. Meanwhile, leading actress, Esra Bilgic who played Halime Sultan, in the series has racked up the most brand endorsement deals in Pakistan.
Recently, Pakistan’s ace designer Maria B had shot her upcoming summer collection campaign featuring Pakistani actress Ayeza Khan and Turkish actress, Gulsim Ali from Dirilis Ertugrul.
It seems that even Turkish actors are also enjoying working with the Pakistani brands and getting recognition for their work.
