Hareem Farooq inspires people to reduce processed sugar for a healthy life

Recently, Pakistani celebrity Hareem Farooq took a 21-day No-sugar challenge. Hareem in her message has urged people to cut down the intake of processed sugar since it is damaging for one’s health.

Hareem Farooq stated that she experienced positive changes in her overall health ever since she dropped her sugar consumption. She said her sleeping patterns have greatly improved ever since she reduced the sugar intake and explained how she satisfied her sugar cravings through natural sources such as dates and fruits.

“Unfortunately, on the 18th day, my temptation got the best of me. I could not control myself and I had bread pudding,” she honestly confessed. “But I realised, in those 18 days where I limited my sugar intake, I noticed how my skin got better and one weird thing, my sleep was a lot better.”

Several times, Hareem Farooq counted on the importance of staying fit and healthy. She said, remaining fit and healthy not only enhances your physical appeal but also boost self-confidence as well.

Hareem Farooq has been tremendous in shedding weight as she lost 25 kg back in 2017. Recalling her experience of challenging herself to stay fit and healthy, she said she feels proud of herself for not losing her determination.

“To be honest, it’s not just about the physical transformation, it includes your inner self as well, it includes energy, stamina, feeling good about yourself, self-esteem. When I say self-esteem, what I mean by that is when you fit into clothes you never fit into and you look in the mirror, it’s not how good you look that hits you.”

“It’s because you can see your determination looking back at you, you can see a person who was committed to making a change and achieved their target. Anyone who has tried to lose weight knows that it requires a lot of will power so when I look in the mirror now, I’m happy and I’m proud of myself,” explains the Parchi co-producer and actor.
