Hema Malini trolled for her election campaign pictures

News Desk |

Hema Malini, the actress turned Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) politician has been immensely trolled on social media for her latest pictures part of election campaign in which she can be seen posing with farmers.

The 70-year old veteran actress is gearing up to win her second elections from the same constituency. She contested for the first time and won from the constituency of Mathura in previous Lok Sabha elections in 2014.

She has recently posted her pictures of working with farmers in the field, cutting the crops with a bay hale and sickle in hands.

Hema Malini, in a self-destructive tweet, had posted her photo with a caption of ‘Hoping for an early release of the film’ during the time of clashes in Mathura.

The commentators, however, did not like the orchestrated humble gesture of Hema Malini and mocked her faking the campaign to gain votes only.

While sharing the pictures, she wrote “Began my Lok Sabha campaign today with the Govardhan Kshetra where I had the opportunity to interact with women working in the fields. A few fotos for u of my first day of campaign.”

The netizens recounted that like a typical politician she reverted to the farmers of her constituency at the time of elections only and did not for once reached out to them in last five years.

The infuriated voters in her constituency argued that Hema Malini chooses to go for the shootings of her film instead of visiting her constituency after the tragedy.
