PMLN MPA Hina Parvez Butt is receiving flak on social media for posting her pictures from Geneva, Switzerland. Butt is in Switzerland for a three-day Young Leader’s Summit in Geneva.
Hina Parvez is dressed up in a white dress for the summit. She posted the picture on her Twitter account on Saturday. Butt has been updating her Instagram stories daily regarding her visit to the summit.
PMLN MPA is now receiving flak on social media from netizens. They called her out for publicizing her visit when more than a third country is under water.
Journalist and anchor Amir Mateen also called out Hina Parvez Butt. He said that he has stopped commenting on the pictures of Hina Parvez Butt since it was not a personal issue. He asked her to stop posting photos at a time of natural tragedy; if she can’t help, she must realize at least.

Earlier, Speaker of National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf had received flak on social media after a video of him enjoying the Niagara Falls in Canada went viral a few days ago.
Pervez Ashraf was seen wearing a coat at the Niagara Fall in the video. Other people were also seen along with him in the video at Niagara Falls-a tourist spot in Canada. Ashraf had traveled to Canada to attend 65th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference.

It was rumored that Raja Pervez Ashraf has traveled to Canada with 25 members, most of them staying in five-star hotels with families. The spokesperson of the National Assembly of Pakistan debunked the news calling it ‘malicious’ and ‘anti-state propaganda.
“Spokesman of National Assembly has termed news circulating in social media as baseless, malicious & anti-state; where it has been falsely attributed to Speaker National Assembly that he is attending ongoing Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in Canada, with 25 member Delegation,” read a statement from National Assembly on Twitter. Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman was criticized for uploading her videos on TikTok.
