The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and local sources have confirmed a heartbreaking development in Gaza, as the body of six-year-old Hind Rajab has been discovered decomposing after being missing for 12 days. Hind, along with her family, fell victim to an Israeli tank attack on their car, which also claimed the lives of two medics dispatched to aid them.
According to reports, the bodies of Hind, her uncle, aunt, and their three children were found near a roundabout in Gaza City’s Tal al-Hawa suburb. The car bore the scars of the attack, evident from the numerous bullet holes riddling its exterior. The tragic discovery has sparked outrage and condemnation from Palestinian officials and humanitarian organizations.

The ambulance sent by Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) for Hind’s rescue was found burnt to ashes. PRCS issued a statement detailing how Hind made a rescue call and begged to be saved. Despite prior coordination for the ambulance to reach the location and rescue Hind, it was attacked, resulting in the loss of two dedicated medics.
Hind’s desperate pleas for help, captured in an audio file released earlier this month, shed light on the harrowing ordeal endured by civilians in Gaza. In the recording, she can be heard begging for assistance as she remained trapped in the car with the lifeless bodies of her family members. The heart-wrenching call lasted for three agonizing hours as Hind awaited rescue amidst the chaos of conflict.

Israeli Military’s Response
