A Hollywood film production company STX is set to produce the first biopic movie on the founding father of Dubai, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Neyhan. Shekhar Kapoor, who previously worked on the movie ‘Elizabeth: The Golden Age,’ will direct the movie. The Hollywood movie will be the first depiction of the life events of Shiekh Zayed bin Sultan bin Neyhan.

Cliff Dorfman will pen down the script of the movie. “Patterned after great movies like Gandhi, Selma, and Darkest Hour, this project will tell the story of a dynamic, powerful personality who helped create historic change,” Chairman of STX Films, Adam Fogelson, told the publication.
The production company has not revealed further details about the locations of the shoots, the cast or the release date of the movie.
The STX has recently released the movie ‘The Foreigner’ that featured Jackie Chan and the Oscar-nominated “Molly’s Game,” starring Jessica Chastain.
The UAE is currently marking the “Year of Zayed” that marks the 100 years since the birth of founding the father of UAE. He died in 2004. Sheikh Zayed served as the President of United Arab Emirates since the formation of the Federation on 2nd December 1971.
Sheikh Zayed, a moderate but visionary ruler, is rightfully credited for transforming the underdeveloped desert with the absence of paved roads, electricity, and water into a progressive and developed country.
With the massive infrastructural development that took place, the UAE has become a hub for international investors in the preceding years.

He efficiently used the oil resources of the region to strengthen the economy of the UAE to the extent that by 2000 it became a leading country that was donating heavy amounts to the neighboring regions for humanitarian development.
