Mohammad Shoaib, the host of the morning show Naya Din, apologized to Nasir Khan Jan for his aggressive behaviour that left the social media celebrity humiliated in the interview.
The host had received flak on social media as people demanded him to apologize to Jan immediately. The host used his own platform to acknowledge his behaviour and also took Nasir Khan on phone line to sort out the issue.
Shoaib said, “My questions were wrong and so was my manner and approach that hurt the sentiments of Nasir Khan Jan, his fans and all our viewers and I apologize for that, because that was wrong.”
“I’ve learned from what happened. I understand that a guest should be respected and there is a way to ask a question. “Muhammad Shoaib also stated that Nasir Khan Jan has won his heart as he remained calm and composed while countering his aggressive behaviour.
Nasir Khan accepted the apology and further added that he cherished receiving support from people who otherwise used to abuse him for his videos. “Those people who would send me horrid messages were now supporting me. Wouldn’t it have been great if we were all positive with each other like this,” stated Nasir Khan in a response.

Earlier, Jan had posted a video on his Facebook in which he opened up about the incident and also thanked his followers for supporting him. The online influencer stated in the post, “I am so thankful to you all for the comments and posts that supported me and my right to speak.”
“I am filled with gratitude because of the positive response and I really hope that in the future I get the same positivity. It is my job to entertain you all and I will keep doing that to spread the positivity.” He also schooled the hosts of the morning shows on the respect and dignity of the guests.
“When you invite a guest on your show, please respect them. If you treat them with respect, more will happily come on your show. I wasn’t aware of the questions I would be asked and what would happen on [Naya Din].”
