Pakistani Fashion designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin has launched a campaign ‘Millennial Musafir’ Campaign to honor and present 24 thoughtful leaders, one for each of his 24 years in fashion design, as he completes 25 years in the fashion designing industry.
The purpose of this campaign is to celebrate “powerful and inspirational millennial journeymen and women, each paving their own passages for greatness across their diverse paths, from business to music, fashion to fitness, entertainment and more.”
Hassan Sheheryar Yasin has mentored all the participants individually for various projects designed for them in the campaign. He, while, talking about his campaign said that he aims to provide the necessary material and technical support those participants that lack sufficient tool to materialize their dreams.
“I personally reached out to these people and told them HSY is there to guide and facilitate them on professional or even personal levels. For example, if someone comes to me with a plan to hold a music concert at his or her workplace I will be there for guidance. I have been posting videos of their ideas on social media as well”, stated HSY.
He said he has realized that it’s high time that society needs leaders and positive thinkers to lead it in the right direction. These positive leaders will extend a helping hand to the people in their surroundings and that will create a chain of love and peace that is extremely needed in our society.

“People should be extending helping hands to each other in society now. I wish to see these 24 youths extending help to as many other talented but resource-less people next year. Takay diyay se diya jalta jaye aur roshni hoti jaye chaar su.”
“People believe or are of the view that HSY only makes dresses for the rich. Yes, I do, but besides laying the foundation of ‘Musafir’, I have also for the very first time introduced an extremely affordable line for those who cannot afford costly outfits ranging from Rs 3,000 to Rs 15,000,”
“You see people every time blame the government for every problem. But I think that as citizens of this country we should also share some responsibility to help those who are underprivileged. As a matter of fact, we don’t have role models except for movies, television or cricket. We need to build a society which should have role models in every walk of life,”
Hassan Sheheryar Yasin is also vocal about the empowerment of women, He recently dedicated his clothing collection launched at ‘Pakistan Fashion Week’ to the important women in his life including his mother.
