It has been learnt from reliable sources that Hyundai has commenced the domestic manufacturing of its sedan Elantra in Pakistan.
A popular auto page on Facebook Pakistan Drag racing-PDR, in a post revealed that they had learned from sources in the automotive industry “Hyundai Nishat is in the works to debut the Elantra Sedan in Pakistan soon”.
The post further read, “Hyundai has already assembled a handful of units of the Elantra Sedan and is planning to put it up for sale in the first quarter of 2021.”
So now all eyes are set on Hyundai Elantra 2020, which might be hitting Pakistani markets really soon! The car is a compact sedan that is intended to go up against the likes of the Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla Altis.

The car features a smart inhouse infotainment system that includes multiple features such as Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, video playing mode, etc. The car also has rear air vents for dual-zone air conditioning.
The new Elantra has a unique silver trim which gives the vehicle a classy look. The colour theme is pretty decent; a combination of cream and black leather is used.

Price and Availability
Hyundai Nishat Motor Limited, the Pakistani dealership for Hyundai vehicles hasn’t officially launched/unveiled the Elantra. According to a popular automobile website, the launch will happen sometime in September 2020. There are no pricing and availability details yet.
Hyundai Elantra 2020 is priced between the range: $18,000 – $22,000 for different trim levels in the US. This means the vehicle will cost the Pakistani buyers around Rs. 2.77 million to Rs. 3.4 million. So if you look forward to buying this sedan, you should keep in handy an amount equalling PKR 30 Lacs.
