Hyundai Sonata 8th generation is set to hit the Pakistani markets in March 2021. Hyundai recently launched the all-new Tucson in Pakistani. The car, a cross-compact SUV was unveiled in a glittery virtual ceremony – telecast live on social media. The South Korean company plans on introducing a few more passenger cars in Pakistan this year.
Now, auto enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the latest generation of Hyundai Sonata scheduled to be introduced in the first quarter of next year.

The Hyundai Sonata comes in two variants in most markets that include a 2.5-litre engine and a 1.6-litre engine although it is still too early to assume what variant is going to be released in Pakistan.
The vehicle, Hyundai Sonata, was showcased in the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2020 at the Lahore Expo Center. The event saw the first look of several cars which are yet to be launched in the country. It was a huge hit with multiple auto manufacturers participating in the event and showcasing their products.
One of the participants at the show was Hyundai, which unveiled the all-new Elantra and Tuscon. While Tucson has been launched just a few weeks ago, Elantra hasn’t hit the market yet.
The classy Hyundai Sonata remains the most anticipated car to be released in Pakistan in 2021. Its elegant design, trendy backlights, dreamy colour range is enough to mesmerize the purchasers. The fully redesigned Sonata offers the cosiest & the most comfortable, roomy interior among its rivals.

Hyundai Sonata: engine and performance
Hyundai Sonata comes with a 5 seat body running on a 2.5L engine with 180-191 horsepower. The car offers an economic mileage of 27-28 km/liter mileage in cities and 36-38 km/liter on highways.
It is powered by a Smartstream 2.5MPI that is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. It will be a front-wheel-drive featuring multiple modes such as Eco, Sport and Manual. Users can select the mode as per their requirements.
