Ibrahim Ali Khan Sparks Controversy Over Heated Exchange with Pakistani Critic

Bollywood actor Ibrahim Ali Khan faced backlash after a heated exchange with Pakistani film critic Taimoor Iqbal over a negative review of his debut film, Nadaaniyan.

Bollywood actor Ibrahim Ali Khan has found himself embroiled in controversy following a heated exchange with Pakistani film critic Taimoor Iqbal over the latter’s review of Ibrahim’s debut film, Nadaaniyan.

Ibrahim, son of veteran Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, made his acting debut in Nadaaniyan, a romantic drama released on a popular streaming platform. While the film generated significant buzz before its premiere, its reception among audiences and critics has been mixed. Ibrahim’s performance, in particular, has been widely discussed, with opinions varying on his acting skills and screen presence.

Among the critics was Taimoor Iqbal, a Pakistani social media influencer and self-proclaimed film critic, who shared his views on Nadaaniyan. In his review, Iqbal described Ibrahim’s acting as “unpolished” and also made a remark about the actor’s physical appearance, specifically his nose. This comment became a key point of contention in the ensuing controversy.

Upon coming across the review, Ibrahim responded to Iqbal directly via Instagram messages. The exchange quickly escalated, with the actor expressing strong displeasure over the criticism and confronting Iqbal for his remarks.

Iqbal later shared a screenshot of their conversation on social media, where it rapidly went viral. The leaked messages revealed Ibrahim’s sharp responses, including personal jabs at Iqbal’s appearance. In one of his messages, Ibrahim wrote, “Tamur… almost like Taimur. You got my brother’s name. Guess what you don’t got? His face,” followed by explicit language. He went on to make further derogatory remarks, branding Iqbal as “irrelevant” and a “piece of trash.”
