Canadian Authorities have recovered ice from the joggers of the arrested PIA air hostess Hina Sani. She was in detention in Canada after several passports of unrelated people were recovered from her possession.
Hina Sani has been detained and is awaiting a local court appearance. She is yet to be granted bail. She has also named two other PIA officials stationed at Toronto Airport- Jameel and Faiza Javed.
Canadian Authorities reportedly questioned both the officials late at night. They are alleged to be involved in the case. Apparently, she was re-arrested following her release. PIA spokesperson also confirmed her arrest. Hina Sani was already receiving warnings from Canadian Authorities.
Easter Holidays have delayed her appearance. Charges against her are unclear at the moment. In case of deportation, she will return to Pakistan as a passenger and not as a crew member. PIA had already suspended her when she was arrested the first time.
Federal Investigative Agency has also sought details from PIA regarding the case of Hina Sani.
Moreover, the Central Disciplinary Unit of PIA has initiated an internal inquiry. This investigation is said to be targeting a manager and a flight scheduler, possibly connected to Sani’s situation.
There are accusations emerging suggesting that PIA flight schedulers might have assigned personnel with “no-fly declarations” to flights bound for Toronto. Additionally, there are reports alleging that crew members have been assigned “non-routine duties” by the General Manager of Flight Services.
