Notably, Fakhar Zaman is the second opening batter to be ruled out due to injury in recent days, following Saim Ayub, who was sidelined after an injury during the South Africa tour.
Fakhar’s absence is a significant setback for Pakistan’s campaign as they look to bounce back in the tournament, with their crucial clash against India scheduled for February 23.
