Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has demanded a judicial commission to be set up to investigate all extrajudicial killings in Punjab, allegedly carried out on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He said this while addressing a rally in NA-154 Lodhran Constituency on February 9, 2018.
Shahbaz is for allegedly running encounter officials in Punjab to kill those people who have been creating hindrances in the way of his political ascendancy in Punjab. He referred to the former Abid “Boxer” who had admitted to carrying out killings at the behest of Shahbaz Sharif.
He reminded the public of the historic decision of 28-July, 2017 when Nawaz was labeled as godfather of mafias. He explained the design of mafia which works tactically by buying institutions, judges, politicians, and people.
He accused Shahbaz Sharif of carrying out the extrajudicial killings through the police to accomplish his ‘dirty work’. He suspected that Punjab police had killed 870 people during the tenure of Shahbaz Sharif. In the back drop of this alleged number, he demanded the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to form a judicial commission.
It appears that Imran Khan is countering the much-publicized criticism by the senior leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), including Rana Sanaullah and Shahbaz Sharif, that the Police Administration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) had failed to capture the murderers of Asma Rani- four-year-old Mardan girl.

Nawaz also criticized PTI for failing to establish a forensic laboratory in the province. After an initial struggle, KP police successfully captured the murderer of Asma Rani and also napped the brother and accomplice of the main accused Mujahid Afridi in the murder of a medical student. They also recovered the two weapons used in the murder.
Ali Tareen is even more determined and passionately launched his door-to-door campaign to ensure that this time lead over the opponents soar by at least 50,000 votes.
Countering PML-N’s criticism Imran lauded the KP Police, that it did not shed a drop of blood while investigating the case of Asma Rani. He was referring to the incident in which Punjab police had killed an innocent person during the protests to find Zainab’s killer.
Sharif Mafia- A Destroyer of Institutions
Imran termed ‘House of Sharif’ as a mafia which has amassed huge ill-gotten wealth to buy everyone in the country, even the opposition. He said that after the ousting of ex-President of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif, his younger brother Shahbaz Sharif is next who will see an end to his rule. He claimed that during the PML-N government, the institutions of the country have been destroyed. In this context, the KP PTI government, he claimed has prioritized making institutions strong in KP rather than the development of infrastructure as PML-N does.

Tareen- Not a Money Launderer
Imran Khan has also explained that the Supreme Court’s decision to disqualify Jahangir Tareen was not applauded by PTI because Tareen has not indulged in any kind of corruption or money laundering and is the highest tax paying politician. He was accused of loan write off, insider trading and land lease. But PTI despite reservations regarding the grounds of Tareen’s disqualification did not speak against the verdict, unlike Nawaz.
Ali Tareen, son of Jahangir Tareen-PTI member has campaigned vigorously in the 2015-by-election which paid a dividend as Jahangir Tareen defeated the PML-N’s Siddique Baloch by 35,000 votes. Ali Tareen is even more determined and has passionately launched his door-to-door campaign and said will ensure that this time his lead over the opponents is by at least 50,000 votes.
After an initial struggle, KP police successfully captured the murderer of Asma Rani and also napped the brother and accomplice of the main accused Mujahid Afridi in the murder of medical student.
