Earlier this week, KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur remarked, “We don’t believe in deals and won’t enter into one,” when asked if there were assurances linked to the release of Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Addressing whether PTI would continue its critical stance toward the army and its leadership, Saif clarified: “We are neither against the institution (the army) nor any individual (the army chief). We oppose their policies and want these to be corrected.”

Barrister Saif further stated that PTI’s primary goal is the release of all its leaders, including the party’s founder, Imran Khan. He noted that there seems to be a shift in those previously initiating legal cases, as indicated by the lack of new cases against Bushra Bibi following her release.

Saif also revealed that Chief Minister Gandapur is scheduled to meet the incarcerated PTI founder at Adiala Jail today. The meeting will address a variety of subjects, including the current political climate and security concerns. Additionally, Gandapur will seek Khan’s guidance regarding the ongoing protests.
