The internet users in Pakistan are reacting to the revelations. Several people believe that Goswami knowing about the attack on Pakistan implies that the Indian government had allegedly set ground to assault Pakistan. Also, that PM Narendra Modi had planned Pulwama attack to falsely attack Pakistan. Others say it was a ploy set by PM Modi to get re-elected.

Observers and commentators in Pakistan believe that Whatsapp reveals how PM Modi has bluffed the Indian nation and also reflects the insensitivity of the Indian government and anchorperson for using a national tragedy for gaining ratings and publicity.
Not only in Pakistan, but there has been a strong backlash in India too. The Indian users have also voiced ire on Prime Minister Narendra Modi risking national security while discussing confidential issues with Arnab Goswami for the sake of increasing his channel’s TRP.

The latest revelation came during the investigations of the Television Rating Scam involving Goswami. The transcript is part of the 3400 supplementary charge sheet against Goswami in the TRP scam case filed by Mumbai Police against an Indian anchor who is known for running malicious propaganda against Pakistan in his shows.
