Pakistan’s Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has expressed displeasure over the Indian cricketers wearing Indian Army caps during the Third One Day International against Australia. Chaudhry in his condemnation statement stated that action must be taken against the players for politicizing the game.
On Friday, the players of Indian cricket team appeared in ground donning camouflaged Indian Army caps in a bid to express solidarity with the Indian troop killed in Pulwama attack.

The Board of Control of Cricket in India had earlier informed that Indian team will be wearing caps during the match, “as [a] mark of tribute to the loss of lives in Pulwama terror attack and the armed forces”. The disgruntled Fawad Chaudhry reacted to this move from Indian cricket and issued a strong statement.
“It’s just not Cricket”, I hope ICC ll take action for politicizing Gentleman’s game … if Indian Cricket team ll not be stopped, Pak Cricket team should wear black bands to remind The World about Indian atrocities in Kashmir… I urge #PCB to lodge a formal protest,” tweeted Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry.
