Indian actor Govinda was reportedly hospitalized this morning after suffering a bullet injury to his leg. According to the Mumbai Police, the actor is now out of danger, and his manager confirmed that he is doing well.
The incident occurred at Govinda’s Juhu residence in Mumbai around 4:45 a.m., as reported by NDTV. The injury was caused by an accidental discharge of his licensed revolver while he was alone at home, preparing to leave for Kolkata. His manager, Shashi Sinha, explained that the revolver fell from a cupboard and misfired, hitting the actor below the knee.

Govinda released an audio message thanking his fans, parents, and guru for their blessings, stating, “I was hit by a bullet, but it has been removed. I thank the doctors and your prayers.”
His wife, Sunita Ahuja, who was in Kolkata at the time, is en route to Mumbai after learning of the incident. The actor was taken to Criticare Hospital, where he remains in stable condition, accompanied by his daughter, Tina.
