The charges stem from an incident on Sunday evening around 5:00 PM, when police were called to the High Commission building on Lowndes Square, Kensington and Chelsea, in response to reports of a man vandalizing the premises. CCTV footage captured Love smashing multiple windows and doors, resulting in significant damage.
Just two days prior, approximately 300 Indian nationals had protested outside the High Commission, leading to the arrest of two individuals for racially abusing police officers.
Indian media reports have identified Love as having a history of minor public disorder offences. Originally from the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) region, Love describes himself as a musician, filmmaker, and designer. In 2016, he founded the One Love Party and ran for Mayor of London against Sadiq Khan and Zac Goldsmith, promoting a platform of unity, environmental reform, and the use of driverless electric cars.

He previously declared himself the Maharaja of the Dogra dynasty of Jammu and Kashmir, as the son of Bhim Singh, former president of the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party. His LinkedIn profile refers to him as “HH the Emperor (Maharaja), Sovereign State of Jammu and Kashmir.”
In 2015, Love made headlines for publicly calling on the British military to overthrow the UK government and install him as Senior Minister of the Crown to implement his proposed reforms. That same year, he revealed he was in debt by approximately £30,000. His music single, “Spill the Milky Way,” released in 2014, failed to gain traction.

The incident comes amid heightened tensions between Indian and Pakistani communities in London, following the recent Pahalgam attack. Over the weekend, opposing diaspora groups staged rival protests outside the diplomatic missions of both countries in central London.
