India’s reputed cricket website says BCCI has sent to state associations on Thursday ahead of October 18th Annual General Meeting. The meeting agenda includes team India’s tour of Pakistan and other international engagements for next year.

“It will be subject to the clearance of the Government of India as always,” a BCCI official was quoted saying to the Indian website.

Pakistan is scheduled to host 50-over Asia Cup 2023 next year ahead of ICC World Cup in India.

Subjected to clearance, the Indian cricket team will be visiting Pakistan after 2008. Pakistan will be hosting Asia Cup in the second half of 2023 just ahead of ICC World Cup. Indian media says BCCI is certain of visiting Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023.

Pakistan and India have not played a bilateral series since 2008. They have been playing each other in the ICC tournaments only for the past decade. Pakistan will, once again, face India next week on October 23rd in the opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2023 in Australia.

Pakistan broke the jinx after defeating India in the last year’s T20 World Cup match played in Dubai. They again defeated India in the Asia Cup 2022 match played in Dubai.

Fans are hopeful of some good performance of the Pakistan Cricket Team in the upcoming high-octane match. India-Pakistan matches engage cricket fans from all over the world and rack up the highest viewership.

Pakistan won the tri-nation series in New Zealand just a week before the start of the T20 World Cup. Pakistan defeated New Zealand by five wickets in a decider played on Friday. The team will depart for Australia soon after the match.
