Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav has replaced Pakistani batter Muhammad Rizwan in the ICC rankings of Men T20I batters. Yadav has taken the top position after his blistering performance in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
Yadav scored consecutive fifties in the matches played against South Africa and Netherlands. Yadav has scored eight T20 half-centuries and one impressive century this year. Rizwan has now slipped to the second spot in the rankings. New Zealand’s Devon Conway is in the third spot. Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam is in the fourth spot in the rankings.
Muhammad Rizwan and Babar Azam are both struggling to put up strong and formidable performances in Australia in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022. Pakistan’s weak batting line-up has been once again exposed badly in the world cup.

First ball back on and Litton Das slips on the outfield.
Next ball he slips again and is run out.
Umpires in an impossible position, but can understand why Bangladesh will be frustrated they’re playing again so quickly here.#bbccricket

First ball after game resumes & Bangladeshi player slips while running, clearly the conditions aren’t perfect & any other team apart from India & they would waited little longer to restart

India had set the target of 185 runs for Pakistan at the loss of six wickets. Bangladesh scored 66 runs in seven overs without losing wickets. Bangladeshi batter Litton Das scored 66 runs on just 27 balls giving a strong start to Bangladesh. After the rain, the match has been reduced to 16 overs and the target was reduced to 151 runs. Bangladesh needs to score 85 more runs in nine overs.
Pakistani cricket fans are hoping for Bangladesh to win the match, rekindling the hopes for the Pakistan cricket team to stay alive in the tournament. Pakistan needs to win the next remaining two matches with a higher run rate to keep the chances of qualifying for the semi-final bright.
